01

The challenge

Replace a dated public website with an approachable health education experience for a broad audience, from teenagers through adults in their 50s, while making evidence-based gut health information practical, culturally relevant, and easy to explore.

02

Our role

Collaborative discovery with Dr. Romanie Gunness, content prioritization, information architecture, wireframes, visual-system direction, responsive website development, and alignment with the companion fibre-tracking application.

03

The solution

A cleaner, more welcoming website that preserves important educational content while clarifying services, recipes and resources, the founder's story, frequently asked questions, and pathways into the Fibre App.

04

The outcome

A more coherent website and app ecosystem that gives The Gut Nerd Caribbean a clearer platform for public education and a more direct bridge from learning about gut health to taking practical action.

Behind the experience

How the experience came together.

01

Discovery grounded in real journeys

The planning work identified the actions that mattered most: exploring educational content, finding recipes and resources, understanding services, and moving into the fibre-tracking experience.

02

Knowledgeable without feeling clinical

The visual and content direction balanced medical credibility with friendly navigation, clear wording, and an inviting tone that encourages people to keep exploring.

03

One connected digital ecosystem

Website structure, branding, and calls to action were considered alongside the Fibre App so the public website and logged-in product feel like parts of the same health journey.

04

Readable across ages and devices

Clean hierarchy, accessible language, and responsive layouts support a broad audience across phones and larger screens without making the information feel overwhelming.

05

Safer enquiry handling

The redesigned contact form adds clear medical-privacy guidance, links visitors to the Privacy Policy, and uses a Cloudflare security check to reduce automated spam before submission.
